About Future Way humidifier wick filters
An evaporative humidifier pushes air through a wet wick. When minerals crust the wick it stops wicking, and output falls long before the machine complains. If the top edge of your filter is hard, yellow or brown, it is swap day.
Our wicks are made from smell-resistant wood-fiber fabric in a dense mesh that stands upright when wet. We list length, width and thickness on every card, because humidifier filters are named by letters (A, B, C) and by retailer numbers that change from brand to brand.
Most households go through a wick every one to two months in heating season. Buying in two- to four-packs keeps a dry spare in the closet for the day it is needed.
