About Future Way hot tub & spa filters
Hot tub water is small, warm and busy, so the filter does more work per gallon than any pool cartridge. Oils, lotion and skin cells are what cloud a spa, and they are exactly what a dense trilobal pleat is built to hold.
Our spa cartridges are listed by their most common cross-reference numbers — PRB25-IN, PRB35-IN, PWK30 and PFF42TC — because that is what is usually printed on the old filter. The dimensions sit right next to them, since two spa filters with the same diameter can differ by an inch in length.
Rinse a spa filter every couple of weeks, soak it in a filter cleaner every few months, and keep a second set on hand so one can dry while the other works. That rotation is the simplest way to double the life of both.
